What's new!

· Pyramid Leagues
Encourage friendly competition and aid players in finding partners at their approximate level of skill. Players can challenge up a level and/or play within thier level. They move up or down after playing 4 matches. The word "Challenge" means to challenge a player one level up. Players can only challenge one level up After 4 wins, player will automatically move up a level. After 4 losses, player will automatically move down a level. After a player moves up or down their level totals are reset to zero. Thier win/loss record for the season are still intact.

· Box Leagues
Like Pyramid Leagues Box leagues encourage friendly competition and aid players in finding partners at their approximate level of skill as well. During each cycle, current standings are recorded. At the end of each play cycle, the two players with the highest total scores in each box (except box 1) will ascend to the next highest box. The two players with the lowest scores in each box (except the lowest box) will drop to the next lowest box. The middle player(s) will remain in the same box. So for the second cycle, each box will have four new players (except for the first and last box, which will each have two new players).

· Challenge Ladder
Player's can make a challenge for a new position on the club ladder. Once the challenger makes a challenge an email is sent to the opponent. Standings are changed once the match has been entered. Other league matches can also count as Challenge Ladder matches.

· Batch E-Mail to others within a league
Players or Captains can send an email to others within the league they are playing in. This is helpful for finding a sub or scheduling a league.

· Player Match Availability
Once a league has been scheduled, players (and captains) can now enter their match availability. Captains will no longer wonder who is available to play matches. Their players can look at the entire league schedule and designate which matches they are available to play. Captains also have the right to change their player's availability if they want. Only captains and players of the team they are registered on can view this information. Other teams cannot see this information.

· Interclub Match Write-ups
Captains can enter thier match write-ups after the match has been recorded. Players then can read the wrtie-ups immediately online.

· Latest Results

· Interclub Captains looking for players
Captains can post that they are looking for players to fill out their rosters. This information is available to all visitors whether they are logged in or not. Captains can specify singles or doubles, rating level, male or female and can add notes.

· Players/ Captains
Can now create shortcuts in their browsers to link directly to their screens. For example, captains might want to save a favorite to their "Team Information" screen. Players might want to save a favorite to their profile. In the past, the system directed them to a login screen before they could navigate to other screens.

· Generic Scheduler
Creates round robin schedules for the public. Very easy to use. The user answers a couple of questions and a round robin schedule is created. Great for clubs and organizers. You can find this under "Tools" on http://www.topdogtennis.com/.

· Interclub Team player positions
Captains can enter a player’s playing position on their team if they wish to.

· Interclub Team lineups
Captains can now enter their team lineups for future matches. Your player will know who is playing when and who is supposed to bring what to the match. Players can only view the lineup for their team. On the same screen, team members can see special notes to their players. For example, who is bringing balls or who’s bringing drinks and food? When captains print out the blank score card for the match, their lineup will automatically be printed on the score card. The opposing teams’ line up will not show on the score card. The lineup link is located on the team information screen. Again, only the team’s captain will be able to edit the lineup. Members of that team can view it. In order for the league admin to see this, you must login as a captain or a member of the team.

· Interclub Team Notes
Captains can now enter comments for others to see. For example, a captain might want to let visiting teams know that there is a dress code at his/her club, nohost bar, and all the food you can eat. Or a captain may advertise that they are looking for players, poll player availability, post lineups, practice times, and assign refreshments, etc. To see this; click on 'search' (upper left of the screen). Change the drop down box to 'teams' and enter the first letters of your team name and click on the search button. Once on the "Team Information Screen" you will see the 'notes' link at the top right.

The player is able to choose how the data is presented. ("Sort Order" is defaulted to Last Name.) The player will only be able to view other players that wish to participate in match arranging.

· Club Leagues
In this area clubs have the cabability to setup thier own in house leagues. You can create round robin singles, doubles, mixed, fixed partner and rotating partners.
