TOURNAMENT RULES

1. Contestants may enter up to three events (one singles, one doubles, and one mixed doubles).
2. Division guidelines:

• Junior Divisions - Players that are 10, 12, 15, or 18 years old can play in their age divisions unless they will turn 11, 13, 16, or 19, respectively, by August 31, 2018.
• Adult Divisions - Players who will reach the age of 30, 45, 60 by December 31, 2018 will be eligible to compete in their respective age division.
• Open Divisions - Any player regardless of age or gender is eligible for the Open Divisions.
• Women’s Open - Any female player regardless of age is eligible for the Women’s Open Divisions.

10 & Under Competition

• All Boys’ and Girls’ 10 & Under events will be co-ed and played with Orange Balls (60ft court) OR Green Dot Balls (78ft /full length court).
• 10 & Under Singles will be played Wednesday, and Doubles/Mixed Combo will play Thursday.
• If players want to enter a third event they can play Mixed Doubles in an older age group on Friday.
• The 10 & Under Play Day event (separate registration required) is independent of the Boy’s and Girls’ 10 & Under Singles draws.

Scoring, Court Officials/Roving Umpire

1. All 10 & Under matches will be best of three sets (4-game sets) using NO-AD scoring and a set tiebreak (first to 7 points win by 2) at four games all in each set. Upon splitting sets, a 3rd set match tiebreak (first to 7 points win by 2) in lieu of a regular third set will be played.
2. All other divisions will play best of three sets using regular scoring and a set tiebreak (first to 7 points win by 2) at six games all in each set. Upon splitting sets, a 3rd set match tiebreak (first to 10 points win by 2) in lieu of a regular third set will be played.
3. The “Roving Umpire” and “Point Penalty” systems will be in effect throughout the tournament.

Schedule of Play

Approximate Guideline.

Some semifinal matches may be played during the week depending on draw size.

Otherwise, semifinals will be played on Saturday.

Finals will be played on Sunday.

Weather & time permitting, first round junior events will play a consolation match.

*Although we try to start the adults at 5pm, please be prepared to play at 4pm depending on draw size and court availability.
