The top 8 entries in each division will be invited to play in the Grand Prix Masters event. The winners in each division at the Masters event will receive a special award.

KAT is hosting the third tournament of the 2017 Grand Prix series at Seven Lakes High School Sept. 23-24th, 2017. Registration fee for each tournament in the series is $29/event. All players receive a t-shirt for the series.

Registration closes Sept. 16, 2017. No refunds will be given to players who withdraw after registration closes.

This is expected to be a single elimination tournament, however if the draw for a division is less than 5, the tournament director has the right to change the format to round robin. If time permits, players can play a consolation round, but no points will be awarded. Players will receive a 30-minute break between matches. A player may play up to three matches per day. Matches will be scored best two out of three sets (10-point tie-breaker in lieu of full 3rd set). No coaching is permitted.

Players should plan to be available to play for the entire day, both days. All players must check-in 30 minutes prior to their first scheduled match each day. Liability waivers should be printed and brought to courts for check-in. Waivers can be found at www.katyareatennis.org.

Draws will be posted 48 hours prior to the first scheduled match, although last minute changes may occur and players are asked to confirm their first match time Friday at noon. A rain-out day will be selected should inclement weather cancel the event. Please be sure a mobile phone number and email address are listed in the player profile as we will contact players via text messaging and email.

Seven Lakes High School is the main tournament site, however satellite courts will be utilized should the draw exceed the limits of court space at the main site.

The tournament director will make every effort to accomodate special requests.
